Gebrauchte Instrumente

Henri Hemsch, Paris 1751

This harpsichord is an original and faithful reproduction of the historical model by Henri Hemsch, Paris 1751. I built it in 2003 for a customer who now wishes to sell it for personal reasons — I am therefore selling it on their behalf and without invoice.

Le Convalescente — François Couperin

Ilja Kulikov performs on the Henri Hemsch harpsichord (Paris 1751), built by Christian Kuhlmann in 2003. Experience the sound of this exceptional instrument.

It has two 8ʹ and one 4ʹ registers, two manuals with French slider coupler, a lute stop in the upper manual, a range from FFʹ to eʹʹʹ, wood jacks with Delrin plectra (own type), and a transposing device for 392 Hz / 415 Hz / 440 Hz (without eʹʹʹ). The stand has 7 detachable legs with a drawer for sheet music and a music stand.

This harpsichord is a historical reproduction of the original by Giovanni B. Giusti, Lucca 1679 (Tagliavini Collection), built by Cornelis Bom in 2003. The decoration was executed by Cornelis Verboom. The harpsichord was built for Pieter-Jan Belder — there are numerous recordings with this instrument, such as Basso Ostinato, in which he performs Italian composers on this harpsichord.

It has two 8ʹ and one 4ʹ registers, a range from GGʹ to gʹʹʹ, wood jacks with Delrin plectra (own type), and a transposing device for 392 Hz (without GGʹ) / 415 Hz / 440 Hz (without gʹʹʹ).
